Orchard Road has a flash Flood

About 100 millimetres (mm) of rain fell between 8am and 11am on Wednesday, causing flash floods in Orchard!

In 1999, The New Paper reported that Orchard Road, the nation's retail and entertainment hub, will "almost never" flood. With Orchard Road protected by a mighty rain drain called the Stamford Canal, the paper further said shoppers haven't had to wade through waist-deep waters since 1960s. But what the heck!!! I think this notion have to be rethought!
